An employee at a factory in Fort Oglethorpe is being treated for chemical exposure, in an accident that brought significant response from local emergency personnel. The Catoosa County Fire Department said they received the call just before 8:30 Monday morning, that Roller Die and Forming, at the 9200 block of Lakeview Drive in Fort Oglethorpe, spilled a large amount of an ammonia based chemical. The Fire Department says one female employee was transported to a local hospital for exposure to the chemical. Six fire trucks and EMS responded to the call. The scene was cleared by 10:15 Monday morning. A call into Roller Die and Forming Corporate has yet to be replied to.
