26 people were displaced Wednesday night after a fire in the 300 block of Rawson Street, according to the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department. Fire officials said a man suffering from smoke inhalation left from the area before receiving medical care. Crews were dispatched around 10:30 p.m. Moderate smoke and fire were coming out of the second floor of a two-story multi-family apartment building, according to the fire department. Fire officials said the building had extensive damage and requested the building be boarded. The cause of the fire is unknown.
