Robins Financial Credit Union recently donated $5,000 to the Bleckley County Fire Department for the purchase of training equipment for lifesaving classes taught by the volunteer firefighters.
“One of the ways we live out our mission to be Member Focused, Financial Partners, Community Proud is by supporting initiatives that promote health and safety within our communities,” said Hillary Bobbitt, Marketing Programs Coordinator at Robins Financial Credit Union. “We are honored to partner with the Bleckley County Fire Department to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to respond effectively in emergency situations.”
The firefighters teach CPR, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed classes to schools, nursing home facilities, as well as county, city and church employees.
