Four people were displaced when a fire broke out at a house in Dandan yesterday morning but, according to the Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services, none of the victims were injured in the blaze.
The fire, which destroyed part of a house in Dandan next to the Children’s Park, reportedly started past 9am and was controlled an hour later, at 10:12am. No persons were injured and no treatments were provided at the scene for medical complaints in relation to the fire.
According to DFEMS, it received a call about the fire at 9:18am from the Department of Public Safety 911 dispatch team.
About two minutes later, at 9:20am, rescue and medical teams from the Garapan and Kagman fire stations were sent to the site, with the first units arriving at the scene at about 9:24am.
The first responding units of DFEMS confirmed that the fire was just at the rear part of the house and fire crews worked to prevent it from traveling or damaging the rest of the home.
