Nine more people tested positive for COVID-19 on the island, four of whom have a history of recent travel. For residents who want to get tested, the Department of Public Health and Social Services is hosting a community mass testing from 9 a.m. - noon today. The tests will be held at the Our Lady of Peace and Safe Journey Catholic Church along Route 4 in Chalan Pago. In total, about 22,500 tests have been conducted since March. The infection rate remains steady at 1.6%, according to DPHSS. That's well below the threshold that officials have said would raise concern. According to the Joint Information Center, there were 692 tests conducted from July 31 to Aug. 1 at the DPHSS lab and its partners. DPHSS conducted 198 tests, Naval Hospital conducted 255 tests and Guam Memorial Hospital conducted 109 tests.
