Early Thursday morning, Kauai fire fighters responded to a fire at a Kalaheo home.
The Kauai Fire Department said crews were dispatched around 2:55 a.m. to the two-story house on Kaloke Road.
Seven units arrived on scene alongside the Fire Prevention Bureau and the on-duty Battalion Chief.
It took firefighters roughly 15 minutes to get the flames under control.
The cause is still under investigation, but fire inspectors did estimate damage to the structure and its contents at $350,000.
Officials said the fire started on the second floor, and the house was believed to be unoccupied.
