EMS officials said a man died after a crash in Central Oahu Tuesday night. The 43-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene when EMS crews got there. It happened around 8 p.m. near the Wahiawa freeway on-ramp. EMS officials say the man was hit while apparently trying to cross the freeway. Multiple EMS units, police and firefighters were on scene several hours after the crash. The man has not yet been publicly identified. Other factors of the crash are under investigation.
