Honolulu Police arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with two fires at homes in Wai'anae on Sunday. Police opened four arson investigations after a string of fires in the area. One of the incidents was caught on surveillance video showing a suspect throwing what HPD described as a 'molotov cocktail.' Before the arrest was made, KITV4 spoke with State Representative Cedric Gates, representing the Waianae area. "We have people who are really fearful and scared that its person is still potentially on the loose. They could be the next victim of this madness."
