The driver of a construction water tanker truck was injured in a rollover crash in Ewa Beach, Monday Morning. The crash happened just after 9:30 a.m. on Fort Weaver Road. First responders say the truck rolled down an embankment and ended up on its side. The driver – only identified as a 47-year-old man – suffered an injury to his ankle after getting pinned inside the cab. Rescuers freed the man using the Jaws of Life. He was taken by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to the hospital in stable condition. Officials say less than two gallons of diesel fuel leaked from the truck due to the crash. Crews with the Honolulu Fire Department used absorbent to clean up the spilled fuel.
