The Honolulu Fire Department extinguished a fire Wednesday night in one of the units near Keaulana Avenue in Nanakuli.
They reportedly sent 11 units staffed with approximately 36 personnel.
The first unit arrived just after 5:30 p.m. to find heavy smoke originating from the small cottage near the back of the property, right near the ocean.
Firefighters secured a water supply, initiated a fire attack, and administered exposure protection with handlines.
A search for occupants resulted in confirmation there was no one in the structure during the fire.
An adjacent carport with a boat and other vehicles reportedly obtained some damage by the fire. The 3-alarm blaze was out by 5:54 p.m.
The American Red Cross was requested to provide support and assistance for one displaced adult female. Meanwhile, all HFD personnel were accounted for with no reports of injuries.
