VIDEO: Two people are safe after a fire broke out inside a garage in Johnston. Firefighters were called to a home at 6116 Northwest 61st Avenue, near Merle Hay Road. The fire broke out just before 4:40 a.m. Five area fire departments responded. Fire officials said two people inside the home escaped without injury. The cause of the fire is not known at this time. There is no damage estimate.
