Lincoln police arrest a 40-year-old man suspected of setting fire to a home where his ex-girlfriend lived. Police found Dennis Porkopec at his home in Adams, Nebraska with burns to his nose and his eyebrows singed off. Porkopec told investigators he had an accident using Nair hair remover. Witnesses told fire investigators they saw a man in a Chevy Traverse pull up to the home in the 78-hundred block of North Hazelwood Drive on November 29. They told police they saw someone walk around the home, then leave. Shortly after, neighbors heard a large explosion and the house caught fire. The residents were not home at the time.
