Alex Chisholm is the newest member of the Osage Volunteer Fire Department, joining just 11 months ago. Chisholm, a second-generation fireman, grew up in Osage, where his dad, Jon Chisholm, was a member of the Osage Fire Department for many years. “I love it,” Chisholm said. “It’s a great group of guys to hang out with and to do other activities in the community.” Chisholm, is a 2011 graduate of Osage High School and a 2016 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa where he obtained a business management degree. He is employed as a manufacturing engineer with the John Deere Corporation in Waterloo. He recently married Jade Olson, of Mason City. The couple lives in Osage.
