Officials are investigating after a Fort Dodge restaurant caught fire early Thursday morning. According to a news release from the Fort Dodge Fire Department, crews responded to a reported structure fire at the Casablanca Steak House on South 25th Street at 4:30 a.m. The release states firefighters saw flames shooting from the roof at the rear of the building. "Fire crews made an aggressive interior attack on the fire and were able to contain it to that portion of the building," the release states. Twenty-four Fort Dodge firefighters and paramedics responded to the three-alarm blaze. "Extensive overhaul work was required to extinguish fire in the collapsed roof and attic spaces in the kitchen and bar areas," the release states. Crews were at the scene for about four hours. No one was hurt. The State Fire Marshal's Office is assisting the FDFD in the investigation.
