A second person faces arson charges in connection with a vacant house fire last month. Cheyenne L. Johnson, 19, Marshalltown, was arrested on a warrant for second-degree arson in a Sept. 15 house fire caught on surveillance footage. Johnson and Tyrone L. Eatmon were both linked to the crime after a video showed two people setting fire to the exterior of a home on the 800 block of South 12th Avenue, according to Capt. Brian Batterson with the Marshalltown Police Department. Damage was estimated at more than $500. The warrant for Johnson was issued after the arson incident and Eatmon was arrested on Sept. 19. He is being held without bond at Marshall County Jail with charges for second-degree arson, second-degree burglary, violation of probation, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with official acts.
