Two vehicles crash in Linn County causing a fire

The Linn County Sheriff's Office and other emergency personnel are reporting that on May 28th at about 6:23 p.m., they responded to a two vehicle crash on Highway 30 westbound at Highway 13. Emergency officials found a Chevy Truck going west hit an Oldsmobile 88 that was disabled on the northern area of the highway. The Oldsmobile was forced into the ditch by the crash and caught fire. The person of the Oldsmobile and the driver of the Chevy Truck were left uninjured. The driver of the Chevy received a traffic citation for the crash. The outside lane of Highway 30 westbound was shutdown for about two hours near the crash.
