In conjunction with the International Association of Firefighters, hundreds of firefighters from Treasure Valley fire departments will fan out across the area with boots in hand for this year’s Fill the Boot drive, according to a press release from the Boise Fire Department. Fill the Boot is an annual fundraising campaign to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association find treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases that severely limit strength and mobility.
