PHOTO: A woman was injured as a result of a two-vehicle crash on Sunday morning in south Pocatello that left her trapped in her wrecked pickup truck. The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. on South Fourth Avenue where that road merges into South Fifth Avenue. The adult female driver who was injured was attempting to make a U-turn onto South Fifth at the merger of the two roads while she was heading southbound on South Fourth when she collided with a car that was also heading southbound on South Fourth, authorities said. The impact of the collision knocked the woman's pickup onto its side, trapping her inside. She had one passenger, a man, in her pickup at the time of the crash but he was able to get out of the vehicle after the wreck and did not suffer any injuries, authorities said. The Pocatello Fire Department responded to the crash and cut out the windshield of the woman's pickup so she could exit her vehicle.
