Idaho passes 6K, hits record for new COVID-19 cases in one day: 365

Idaho is reporting a total of 6,117 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases. According to the state's COVID-19 website, there were 365 new cases on Tuesday; 341 new cases were confirmed and 24 were probable. That blew the previous record out of the water by over 100 new cases, set last week. The state has reported over 200 cases every day for the last several days. Ada County holds the most number of cases with a total of 2,169, which is 35% of the state's cases. Idaho has reported 92 virus-related deaths. The largest number of cases are among people ages 18-29 at 2,097 cases, which is 34% of the state's cases. Cases of hospitalization are at 330, with 116 of those cases being admitted to ICU. Healthcare workers account for 509 of those cases, which is about 8% of all cases.
