Semi overturns on N. Idaho highway spilling 40,000 lbs of apples

PHOTOS: A semi-tractor pulling a trailer overturned on a highway in northern Idaho Thursday spilling 40,000 pounds of apples. A 2019 Freightliner semi-tractor pulling a trailer went off the right shoulder on Interstate 90 near Wallace. The driver went into the ditch for about 350 feet and came back into the highway. The semi tipped over spilling 40,000 lbs of apples and blocked both lanes for about one and a half hours. The 47-year-old driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
