New information provided to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office details how someone lit a fire inside Silverwood Theme Park on Saturday. Security at Silverwood Theme Park said someone cut a hole in their fence, poured gasoline on the wooden roller coaster and tried to light it on fire. The fire stayed small and only burned about a four-foot chunk of one of the supports. The state fire investigator has been to the scene to assist with the investigation. A suspect or suspects have not been identified at this time.
