Folks hoping to understand how the Dairgold plant in caught fire will need to wait a little while longer. Caldwell Fire on Monday told CBS2 that investigators are "in a holding pattern" while they try and determine what prompted the massive three-alarm Oct. 12 fire on Albany Street. "It's going to be a while...we need to shore up the building," an official said. CBS2 was told that Darigold's team of insurance investigators will be at the site on Tuesday, along with a team from Caldwell Fire. They hope to create a plan of action moving forward. But the sheer size of the fire has left the area of the facility affected by the fire unstable. "We just ask the community to be patient," Caldwell Fire said. "It's going to take some time."
