PHOTO: A family is unhurt after a fire destroyed an RV that they were planning to take a trip with Friday. Madison Fire Department Chief Corey Child told us the fire call came in around 2:55 p.m. for an RV that was on fire near the 2100 block of 440 South in Rexburg on Friday. The RV was parked by the house. “When we got on scene, the entire motorhome was fully involved in fire. The house was threatened by the fire as well. Fire crews extinguished the fire and saved the house from any damage. The fire did spread a little to the grass, but that was extinguished as well before more vegetation caught on fire,” Child said. The fire is under investigation, and its cause is unknown. Witnesses told EastIdahoNews.com on the scene that the RV blew, and the noise scared them.
