The Riggins Volunteer Fire Department recently purchased a used fire truck from Bonneville County Fire District. The new to Riggins fire rig is a 2006 Pierce international 1000gal pumper. On the morning on February 4th the station completed a volunteer training with the new rig, pictured below. A representative from the Riggins Volunteer Fire Department said "Our department wants to send a huge thank you to the Bonneville County Fire District for allowing us the opportunity to come down and see their operation and purchase one of their fine trucks. We had a great time and met some wondeful people. We are very fortunate and grateful to be able to purchase such a great rig for our city."
