No one was injured following a house fire last night in Idaho Falls; however, officials say several were displaced from their home. The Idaho Falls Fire Department and Idaho Falls Police Department were dispatched just before 7 p.m. on Sunday after the Bonneville County Idaho Falls Dispatch Center received a call from one of the occupants stating the basement was on fire and that two occupants were still inside the home. There were at least 10 adults and one juvenile inside the home when the fire started in one of the bedrooms in the basement. When firefighters arrived on scene, they encountered heavy smoke coming from the basement with reports that there was still one adult male inside. Firefighters immediately began searching for occupants while extinguishing the fire. Shortly after entering the home, they received confirmation that all of the occupants were able to evacuate safely.
