The Quincy Fire Department is now selling their 2018 Firefighters for the Cause t-shirts. The proceeds from the shirts will benefit the Blessing Hospital's Breast Center. If they meet their goal of $10,000 the fire department said Fire Chief Joe Henning and Deputy Chief Greg Dreyer will shave their heads. This year's design says "Still in the Fight Against Breast Cancer!" "We want everyone to know that we're still here, breast cancer is obviously still here and we're still in the fight with everybody," said Firefighter Jerry Smith. "We want the public to know that we're here for them to help them out any way that we can. This is a small thing that we can do for them." To purchase a shirt you can fill out an order form and take it to the Central Fire Station located at 906 Vermont Street. The deadline for orders is September 14.
