A home was damaged in a fire on Wednesday morning, according to fire officials.
Firefighters in Rantoul say, a home was damaged, and a car and garage were destroyed. The fire broke out at 1:38 a.m. in the 700 block Juniper Drive.
Fire Chief Ken Waters told the News-Gazette the estimated damage is $60,000 to the home.
Homeowners say they were working on a lawn mower when it caught fire. It destroyed their Ford Escape in the garage.
The home sustained smoke damage. Fire officials say the fire was ruled accidental.
No one was injured in the fire.
