A man was killed and three others were injured after a fire on the city's South Side. Fire crews responded to a fire around 5 a.m. Wednesday at a two-story apartment building 70th Street and Wabash in Greater Grand Crossing. Upon arrival, the second-floor of the building was fully engulfed in flames. According to officials, a man was killed in the fire. Three other people were transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center for treatment. The victim has not yet been identified. No further information was provided. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
