VIDEO: Springfield firefighters are busy battling a massive blaze at a home in the 2000 block of Brown Street on the eastside of Springfield Monday morning. Firefighters tell us their biggest priority right now is to make sure the fire doesn't spread to the neighboring house. Those neighbors have been cleared from their home. Firefighters were called to the area around 6 a.m. We're told the home is abandoned. At this time, no injuries have been reported. This is one of several fires the Springfield Fire Department has responded to in the area over the last several weeks.
