A freight van caught fire along the U.S. 41 Henderson strip this evening that disrupted northbound traffic for about an hour. The road reopened to traffic at 8:36 tonight. Henderson Fire Department responded to the scene near Marywood Drive to extinguish the blaze. It appeared the fire started in the engine compartment of the Atlas Van Lines vehicle. Henderson Police Department officers were rerouting traffic through North Elm and Rettig Road. No one was reported injured.
