Kentucky 86 Fire and Rescue Department in Cecilia will receive a Federal Emergency Management Agency Assistance to Firefighters Grant of more than $80,000.
According to a news release from U.S. Rep. Brett Guthrie’s office, the grant will replace “outdated air packs.”
The $82,953 grant was announced Thursday.
The program awards grants directly to fire departments, EMS organizations and state fire training academies, according to the news release.
