Madisonville police are investigating three fires that happened during the overnight hours.
The first fire happened around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday. Police and firefighters were called to a home at 409 Park Row and found a fire on the front porch that was growing exponentially.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire. The home was heavily damage.
Around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, a second fire was reported at a fireworks stand at the corner of South Main Street and East McLaughlin Avenue.
When police and firefighters arrived, they found the tent fully engulfed and fireworks were exploding around the tent.
While battling the fire, a third fire was reported around 4:35 a.m. at another fireworks stand, this one adjacent to Market Place on South Main Street.
