A two-year-old Ohio County girl has perished in a mobile home fire. According to Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty, early Friday morning firefighters from multiple fire departments, including the Fordsville, Dundee and Whitesville FDs, responded to 3850 Hwy 54 to battle a structure fire. The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police also responded to the scene and upon arriving, it was discovered that two adults and two children had escaped from the mobile home, but one child was believed to still be in the residence. The two children who escaped, seven-year-old Ireland Henry and four-year-old John-Ross Henry, were airlifted from the scene to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment of burns.
