An Anderson County mechanic shop is a total loss following a Tuesday morning fire. Anderson County Battalion Chief Marty Terry says firefighters received a call after 10 a.m. about the fire. When crews arrived the structure was engulfed with flames. The mechanic shop is located behind a house, and no one was on the property at the time. Neighbors saw the fire and called it in to authorities. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, but investigators are ruling out arson or foul play.
