Firefighters responding to a medical call ended up putting out a house fire too. The Lexington Fire Department says the call originally came in as a woman having trouble breathing. This was just before 11 a.m. in the 700-block of Rebecca Drive. Crews were then told there was a fire at the home. The fire was located in the living room. A man and a dog inside the home go out safely. Firefighters say the dog needed oxygen but was fine. They say the man and woman did not want to be taken to the hospital. The fire remains under investigation.
