Part of the Red River Gorge shut down after a wildfire last month is now reopen, according to the U.S. Forest Service.
Forest officials took to Facebook Tuesday, posting, “The Wildcat Ridge area of Clifty Wilderness in the Red River Gorge is now reopened for public use.”
The area was recently closed due to a wildfire.
According to the U.S. Forest Service, “All trails in the area are reopened as well, which include Wildcat Trail #228 and Swift Camp Creek Trail #219.”
Officials say all trails in the gorge are open.
