Firefighters rescued a couple people from a home Tuesday evening after a tree fell on it. WSAZ/Sarah Bankston The Load Volunteer Fire Department responded to a tree on top of both a mobile home and multiple vehicles. It happened in the area where KY-827 meets KY-7. Greenup County 911 got the call just after 5 p.m. Tuesday. Nobody is hurt, according to the fire chief. He says people were inside when the tree came crashing down, but firefighters got everyone out safely. Family told our crew at the scene that two people were asleep inside the home at the time. Amy Wilson lives in the home but was at work when it happened. She says it's the second time a tree has hit the home in five years. She said the last one came down on the other end of the home.
