Firefighters face battles every day. Sometimes, those battles have nothing to do with fire. A local fire district is asking for the public's help after one of their own was recently diagnosed with cancer. The Highview Fire Protection District shared a post on their Facebook page on Thursday night. The district is hoping to help Sgt. Mike Henson by raising money through challenge coins. The district has ordered several hundred challenge coins with Sgt. Henson's name, as well as the phrase "Help Mike Fight The Fight" inscribed on them. The district is selling the coins for $10 each and all of the proceeds will go to Sgt. Henson.
