Investigators are looking into what caused a late night fire on Tuesday that destroyed part of a family's home in Pleasure Ridge Park.
Firefighters had to pull one person from the burning home.
"I saw this black smoke coming out of the bedroom window and I knew it was pretty bad," said Mary Embry.
It all happened very quickly for Embry. Her next door neighbor's home on Pyrus lane caught fire with the flames growing by the second.
Embry says her neighbor came to them for help, with her baby and husband still inside of the home
"She was just so upset. She kept saying help me, help me get my baby out. My daughter didn't think at all, she just went," she said.
According to the PRP fire department, when they arrived the mother and baby were safe.
