It’s the season of giving.
And the Bowling Green Fire Association just gave a whole lot.
“People have been very grateful and again we’re just very excited that we can do this for our families and help make a difference in their holiday,” said the Family Enrichment Center’s Director of Development Katie Dykes.
This morning the Bowling Green Firefighters Association delivered 75 donated Thanksgiving meal boxes to the Family Enrichment Center.
“Seventy five thanksgiving baskets, including everything for the whole meal. Turkey, potatoes, a couple sides, gravy, two liter soda, and a pie of some kind. And we box ’em all up,” said firefighter Craig White.
The boxes will be distributed to the center’s client families enrolled in the Wee Care Childcare Center, parent education classes, the Parents as Teachers programs and foster grandparents.
