Emergency officials responded to a partial wall collapse in the Pleasure Ridge Park area Tuesday. PRP fire was called to Southwood apartments around 5 a.m. in the 2500 block Penacook road, according to PRP Fire deputy chief, Jason Meiman. Meiman says a brick veneer wall collapsed on the rear portion of the building. Officials say they are unsure of what caused the collapse. All of the residents have been notified of the brick failure. Red Cross is providing assistance to displaced residents. Metro code enforcement and building inspectors were on the scene investigating until 9 a.m.
