New Orleans firefighters are investigating a two-alarm fire on Frenchmen Street Friday morning. The fire started around 2:30 a.m. Crews say a home was engulfed in flames when they arrived. The flames were threatening nearby structures but crews were able to contain them from spreading. Nearby homes did get some minor damage from the heat, according to NOFD. Nearly 45 firefighters responded to this scene. No one was hurt. NOFD said they are investigating the fire as suspicious. They say this was the second working fire at this address in less than a week.
