The Westwego Fire Department reported damage Wednesday after strong winds ripped off a roof of a business. The roof was ripped off a business on the Westbank Expressway and then blown into some nearby homes. The roof ripped down power lines and caused a small fire, according to the fire department. Fire officials say the fire displaced four adults and two children. No injuries were reported and the Red Cross is assisting affected families.
