Massachusetts State Police responded to a crash involving a school bus full of students on Interstate 495 in Andover on Tuesday morning. The 2-vehicle accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on I-495 north by the Interstate 93 ramps. It involved a tractor trailer and a school bus carrying 42 students and nine adults, state police said. Two students sustained minor injuries from the crash, described by fire officials as cuts and scrapes. They were treated by first responders. Neither driver sustained any injuries. "Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt," Andover Fire Chief Michael Mansfield said. "We were able to respond quickly, treat the two students who sustained very minor injuries, and moved the whole group to a safer location to wait for another bus."
