PHOTOS: A Red Line train derailed this morning at JFK station, requiring a technical rescue team from the Boston Fire Department, and prompting the T to advise customers to “seek alternate transportation.”The derailment occurred on a southbound train at approximately 6:10 a.m., according to the Boston Fire Department which sent a technical rescue team to assist passenger evacuation.
The fire department reported on Twitter that it helped 60 passengers evacuate the derailed Red Line train and that “all were able to walk off.” According to the fire department, there was one passenger with a minor injury who refused transport to the hospital.
