Christopher Pace, the firefighter helped out a window by fellow firefighter Lt. Jason Menard during a four-alarm blaze Nov. 13 on Stockholm Street, has been released from the hospital. Deputy Fire Chief Martin Dyer confirmed Wednesday that Pace was released Tuesday. Menard, 39, died in the fire after helping Pace and another firefighter out of the building. Pace fell from the window to the ground and suffered serious injuries, in addition to burns. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. A GoFundMe page set up for Pace has raised nearly $40,000.
