A fire at a Burger King restaurant that caused about $30,000 in damages in Elkridge Wednesday night drew firefighters and paramedics from three counties, Howard county fire officials say. First responders from Howard, Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties were called to the 6200 block of Washington Boulevard at about 9 p.m., officials said. The crews found active fire in one of the building’s exterior walls. The fire was declared out at approximately 9:30 p.m. Howard County fire officials are working to determine the origin and cause of the blaze. No injuries have been reported. Officials said the building was evacuated shortly after the fire started.
