The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a fire believed to have started inside a vehicle Friday.
The Taneytown volunteer fire company responded to the parking of Dollar General at 7 Antrim Boulevard a few minutes before 8:30 p.m. Friday for a vehicle fire in a 1994 Ford Escort, according to a notice of investigation from the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
The car had two occupants. The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and refused treatment at the scene, according to the notice.
The fire, which was controlled in about 5 minutes, caused damage to the structure and contents estimated at $700, according to the notice.
No charges or arrests were made as a result of the incident, according to the notice.
