One person was rescued from a Cockeysville house fire Wednesday night, according to authorities. Firefighters arrived to find the Padonia Road home was engulfed by flames.
Crews were dispatched to the 800 block of Padonia Road at 11:55 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, officials reported.
Firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions and were at the scene for several hours, according to the Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company, which noted there were no fire hydrants in the area.
One woman was critically injured in the blaze, according to WJZ.
By 2:17 a.m., the Baltimore County Fire Department reported the fire was out. However, WJZ said because of the wind, the fire reignited and crews returned around 5 a.m.
