Two firefighters in Cecil County were injured Saturday afternoon battling a house fire in Elkton. Firefighters were called shortly after 2 p.m. to the 100 block of Foxwood Road. When crews arrived, they found a single-family home in flames. It took firefighters about 20 minutes to get the flames under control. Two firefighters sustained minor burn injuries. The fire caused about $40,000 worth of damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
